We are now looking for a specialist in general medicine to join us at Ekerö Health Center.

As a specialist in general medicine with us, you will contribute to further developing our well-functioning health center to become even better. Each doctor is responsible for their own list of patients, and we strive for continuity over time. We care about helping and supporting each other when needed, and it is free to discuss and bounce ideas with all colleagues.

Ekerö Health Center is the largest health center in Ekerö municipality and is located near Ekerö center with good transportation connections. We are responsible for approximately 20,000 listed patients and have about 70 employees. We are a pleasant workplace where we always strive to develop our operations. Since Ekerö municipality is large in area and the peripheral parts are a bit far away, there are some rural elements with acutely ill patients and home care patients on Adelsö, which can only be reached by boat.

Job responsibilities

Typical tasks for a specialist in general medicine, such as outpatient work with responsibility for your own list and collaboration with all staff at the clinic. We work digitally and physically and have good technical opportunities for video visits and chat with patients when appropriate. There is an opportunity for BVC service. Supervision of students and training doctors is included.

Qualifications

Licensed physician who is a specialist in general medicine.
A willingness and ability to take responsibility for your own list of patients.
Very good Swedish and English in spoken and written form.
Computer literacy and interest in working digitally.
Experience working with TakeCare is an advantage but not necessary.

You are meticulous and empathetic and always strive to provide the best possible care in all patient contacts. Furthermore, you genuinely care about your colleagues and employees and spread a positive atmosphere around you. You are easy to collaborate with both for medical colleagues and other staff. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and leadership ability.

Additional information

Full-time, part-time can be discussed. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Please submit your salary expectations. A collective agreement is in place.

If we see that we work well together, there are opportunities for you to join our experienced ownership group after a while and become co-responsible for operations with other general practitioners at the clinic. You will then be involved in planning and driving the work at the clinic and also become a co-owner of Praktikertjänst.
